Our First Norfolk Youth Player!
The league is pleased to confirm that following the Norfolk Youth Trials on Sunday 17th January Kyle Ross aged 15 from the Sutton Staithe Hotel Neo Hombres has successfully qualified for the Norfolk Youth Team 2010. This is a fantastic achievement and every member of the league will I am sure wish him all the very best for the season and we hope to hear more from him during the year. Achievements of this nature were the driving force behind the creation of the league and he is the first player from the area to make a Norfolk County Side. However, we are sure he will not be the last, congratulation Kyle!

Team Naming
Bacton Duke have been inspired by the naming of the Sutton Staithe teams and have therefore decided to change their team name to the 'Duke Nukems'.

Sutton Staithe Wrinklies v Sutton Staithe Neo Hombres
Victoria Bar v Black Swan NW
NW Sports Centre v Haig Club Mundesley
Bacton Duke v Sutton Staithe All Chalk's

(Added 08/09/09) - The 2nd week of practice matches sees teams from Sutton Staithe & NW Sports Centre visiting teams to assist in the switch over in rules. Last weeks response was superb after a little playing and explanation.
(Added 07/09/09) - Registration Forms Received From Walcott Lighthouse who will also be joining the league along with The Haig Club, Mundesley. It would seem the league will be very strong with 10 sides.
(Added 06/09/09) - The two team match with Norfolk County Pool Association will definately go ahead.
(Added 01/09/09) - It appears that the league now has 10 confirmed sides and as detailed the 1st day of the season with be Tuesday 22nd September.
(Added 30/08/09) - Norfolk EPA will discuss on the 18th September the holding of the annual Norfolk EPA meeting at Sutton Staithe to welcome the league into the organisation. This is a fantastic result for the league.
(Added 30/08/09) - A team representing the Norfolk 'A' & 'B' team will be playing a side representing NENPL in October. This will be discussed with all but could be an opportunity for the league to field a team of Under 25's. This is exceptionally good news for all involved in the league.
(Added 28/08/09) - Work on the new website and forums has begun.
(Added 27/08/09) - New score sheets have been completed.
(Added 25/08/09) - Carling sponsership agreement finalised generating revenue totaling £1,250. This means the league will be FREE for everyone, no registration charges!!
