Sutton Staithe Hotel is a family friendly Hotel and we try to make them as welcome and entertained as possible. Our family rooms have DVD players and we keep a small stock of DVD's for them for you to borrow during your visit or you may wish to bring along with you some of their favourites.

A trip to the zoo has always captured the imagination and in North Norfolk there are the following Wildlife attractions amongst other fun days!
Banham Zoo: (39 miles away) All manner of animals from the creepy crawlies in the Reptile house to Monkey’s and Tiger feeding walks. Childrens Farm Barn and plenty for the whole family.
Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens: (11 miles away) An absolutely fantastic place to take the kids. The grounds are fantastic and there is so much to do and so many animals to see including Tigers & Red Panda's. Visit their website and make sure you visit, this a super day out for all.
Dinosaur Adventure Park: (25 miles away) Dinosaurs seem to capture children’s imagination so why not try a visit? "Venture in if you dare" is their statement!
Hippodrome Circus: (20 minutes away) Bound to meet with your approval. A large amusement park with roller coasters, dodge em’s, candy floss and all the works in the same day?
Wroxham Barns: (10 Minutes Away) Perfect for children but loved by all ages, Junior Farm offers a hands-on experience in a real farmyard. You can pat the goats and donkeys, bottle-feed the spring lambs and autumn calves, collect your own eggs from our henhouses, groom the ponies, stroke the guinea pigs and even exercise the ferrets.
Bure Valley Railway: (15 Minutes Away) Norfolk's longest narrow gauge steam railway runs from Wroxham to Aylsham. The railway runs through some of the most beautiful countryside in Norfolk and is always well received by both young and old alike. Great Yarmouth is home to the Marina Centre with large indoor swimming facilities for a rainy day and a
Sea Life Centre if the weathers bad.
How about seal watching? Take a boat trip to Seal Island and Blakeney Point. The kids are never disappointed with this trip. Blakeney is next to Wells and can be found here.
The city of Norwich offers all you would expect from a City but maybe a day out at the Puppet Theatre offers something different?

Cromer Boating Lake Is a safe boating lake always popular with the children and also features a Putting Green, Crazy Golf & Trampolines.
