site quite happy to provide for you route maps on arrival to any course or destination you wish.
Mundesley Golf Club. (25 Minutes Drive). This club is located right on the Norfolk Coast and was founded in 1901. The club offers a nine-hole course, with 18 tees, provides a variety of tests, from the deceptive par three 1st with its tricky, slick green, to the aptly named Sea View par five 14th which requires a sturdy tee shot to carry the gorse. The course is complemented by a modern clubhouse where members and visitors alike can be sure of the traditional friendly Mundesley welcome.
Royal Cromer Golf Club. (30 Minutes Drive) A club steeped with History and offering one of the most picturesque rounds of Golf in the area. In the past it has been visited by the likes of Peter Allis, Tony Jacklin and more recently Nick Price. The website is exceptionally comprehensive and gives super information on each of its 18 holes many of which overlook the beach and sea. A firm recommendation for a visit.
Bure Park Pitch & Putt - Caister. (20 Minutes Drive) Unfortunately we do not seem to be able to find a website for the club but the contact telephone number for them is 01493 843621. This 18 hole pitch and putt is certainly more appropriate for the novice or intermediate golfer that does not want a full 18 hole session but more a brief afternoon game and not too long a walk! The course is very popular with beginners and worth consideration.
Great Yarmouth & Caister Golf Club. (30 Minutes Drive) The Course is a fine example of traditional links golf, laid out on predominantly sandy ground over 100 years ago, and famous for the quality and stability of the greens. While modern irrigation is now used to ensure that the course is in optimal condition all year round, this does not detract from the links feel.
Weston Park Golf Club. (50 Minutes Drive) One of the finest courses in Norfolk (just 9 miles from Norwich), each hole of this immaculate 18 hole course is unique, offering a truly challenging game for golfers of all abilities.
The excellent greens and tees blend harmoniously into the landscape, providing scenic views of the countryside. Fairways weave through the majestic oaks, beech, lime and chestnut trees that are home to an abundance of wildlife. It's not unusual to see hares, pheasants and squirrels, and many golfers have been rewarded with a glimpse of wild roe deer racing across the course.
Wensum Valley Golf Club. (45 Minutes Drive) The Valley Course, par 72, demands accuracy off the tee and skill on the undulating greens. The Championship Wensum Course, par 72, by contrast requires length off the tee and has smaller well protected greens, some with water, that need accuracy to score well.
Alternatively they have a 9 hole golf course at nearby Mattishall with its long narrow fairways.
Facilities for golfers include a new floodlit driving range, putting green also trolleys and buggies for hire.
Bawburgh Golf Club - Norwich. (50 Minutes Drive) Set in over 120 acres of rolling Norfolk countryside, Glen Lodge, now home to the Bawburgh Golf Club offers the ideal venue for both social and golfing events. The always interesting and often demanding golf course was established in the early seventies, whilst the Scandinavian style Glen Lodge overlooking the eighteenth green was added in the mid nineties. Along with the golf driving range and golf academy you need look no further when searching Norfolk for a suitable venue for all.
Browston Hall. (45 Minutes Drive) Beautiful venue With 9 challenging holes it is excellent for all ages and abilities. As it is not too long it is ideal for young players and beginners teaching them the basics of the game. For the more experienced players it is the ideal location to practice your short game and bunker play. Visit their website for extensive information.
