Our long established restaurant has a huge choice of dishes and flexibility to satisfy the needs and tastes of our many guests both young and old.

The restaurant menu features all of the traditional favourites from steak to fish, pastas to pies. The menu offers a choice of eleven appetisers and over forty different main dishes which include sixteen home made dishes. Specials are changed daily & weekly. Vegetarians are always catered for with a minimum of eight main course dishes always available.

Through the summer months our daily specials amongst others regularly include locally caught fresh Sea Bass and our famous Steak & Mushroom Pie cooked with Red Wine & Guinness, unchanged for over a decade!

If you are not looking for a large meal then our lunch time menu is available offering snacks, light bites, hot baguettes and burgers to name a few.

As you would expect we carry full information on all our food products in regard to their content and are more than happy to cater for every dietary requirement. Should we not have something for your requirement then we will create something especially for you, let us know on your arrival.

To complement your choice of meal we have an extensive wine list and seating in our restaurant overlooking the river Ant and Staithe moorings.

Whatever choice you make you have the freedom to choose where you eat, be it in our restaurant or our main bar or perhaps even, weather permitting, in our spacious front garden overlooking the river.

Children are of course welcome and have their own exclusive menu. We also cater for "big kids" and you can have a meal in our pool and games room. As you can see the choice really is yours.

If you have the chance then it is highly recommended that you visit our Sunday carvery. This popular carvery is held every Sunday and boasts a choice of four meats and nine seasonal vegetables. Widely considered to be the best carvery on the Norfolk Broads and beyond.

Booking in advance is advisable as our all you can eat carvery is growing in popularity week by week and is often fully booked.
