Sutton Staithe Hotel was very proud to be host an evening with the "Booze Brothers" band in aid of SAS - Stalham & Smallburgh Community Responders. The event took place on Saturday 24th February 2007, and was a sell out event!
This is a very worthwhile charity which is actively helping to save lives every day in the area. Your support was very much appreciated.
Sutton Staithe Hotel actively supports a number of charities and good causes both within the immediate local community and other larger organisations. These range from assisting towards the cost of 1st Aid Training for pupils of the local primary school to supporting the East Anglian Air Ambulance and many others.
In recent years we have been pleased to have supported many good causes through donations, assisting in organizing events and activities and providing a venue. Most recently helping raise funds with Linda Blair and her Great Wall of China walk expedition in aid of Cerebral Palsy.
The biggest success of recent years was without question the performance of local band Insomnia which the community as a whole supported. Donations from individuals, local businesses and the event itself saw well in excess of £2,500 being sent to the East Anglian Air Ambulance.
A wonderful night in which former Norwich City Star Peter Mendham and East Anglian Air Ambulance fund raiser attended and also enjoyed himself!
Whilst we cannot promise to be able to offer our help to every good cause we do extend our facilities to charities and good causes. Should any individual, group or organisation require a venue for a Charity event then please feel free to discuss the possibility with us.
